Lifelong Learning Centres across the country turned green this week in celebration of St Patricks Day. From dress ups to clover decorating, the children learnt about Irish culture and celebrated with all things green!
The global celebration of Irish culture - on Tuesday 17 March - proved a perfect opportunity for our little lifelong learners to learn all about the Irish way of life - from food and music, to geography and folklore! Check out some of the activities that children enjoyed in-centre below.
Nursery children at Tadpoles Early Learning Cashmere used green paint and glitter to create their own special clover-inspired artwork.

Henley Long Day Care children made their own four leaf clovers out of pipe cleaners. The twisting and tying was a great way to hone in on their fine motor skills.

Kids Academy Warnervale went all things green! Children enjoyed dress ups, clover decorating and rainbow painting.
"Here’s to eyes in your heads and none in your spuds!”, proclaimed Assistant Centre Manager, Virgina McGahan. Milestones Early Learning Augustine Heights celebrated with plenty of green arts & craft activities.

Celebrating international days and cultural celebrations is an important aspect of the Lifelong Learning Centre’s Healthy Children approach that drives activities and learning through all centres. Want to know what’s coming up in-centre? Find your local centre and contact them to get involved!
